Universal Animation Studios (60fps) (Open Matte,) (formerly know as Universal Cartoon Studios) (60fps) (Open Matte,) is an American animation studio which is a division of Universal Studios. It is best known for producing sequels to Universal-released feature films, such as The Land Before Time, An American Tail, Balto, (60fps) (Open Matte,) as well as other films and television series.
The actual animation production has done overseas, most notably by either Wang Film Productions or Rough Draft Studios, with pre-productions and post-productions is United States-based.
On August 22, 2016, the television animation division of Universal and DreamWorks (COMPLETE), merged after completing the acquistion of DreamWorks Pictures: Television Studios Logo (2009-14-Present, Variant,).
