Luigi is the younger twin brother of Mario and the deuteragonist of the Super Mario franchise, as well as the titular main protagonist of the spinoff series, Luigi's Mansion and one of the titular main protagonists of the Mario and Luigi series alongside his brother. He also had a little known role in the game Mario is Missing which is the first official game that he was the star of. Luigi also has his own rival Waluigi since Mario Tennis for the Nintendo 64.
He will be voiced by Charlie Day in Illumination's upcoming 2023 Super Mario Bros. film.
